Who is the Edgemont Incorporation Committee (EIC)?

Neighbors

Every EIC volunteer is a resident of Edgemont. We are empty-nesters; parents with kids in our schools; young families whose children haven’t entered the district; homeowners, condo-owners, and apartment-dwellers; single people; retirees; residents new to Edgemont; and those who have lived here more than 50 years.

Volunteers

We are all volunteering our time because we believe strongly that becoming the Village of Edgemont will enhance our property values and quality of life. We are approximately 30 in number, and our group just keeps growing. 

Professionals and Citizens

We are attorneys, finance specialists, marketing experts, business executives, small business owners, municipal finance analysts, and real estate professionals. We are and have been actively involved in Edgemont’s school district board of education, committees, and projects as well as civic associations, youth sports programs, and local volunteer organizations.

We believe in the following principles: 

1.   A Village of Edgemont must strive to preserve the unique and exceptional character of Edgemont. 

2.   A Village of Edgemont must effectively and responsibly control the revenue received from its resident taxpayers and the expenditure of those funds.

3.   A Village of Edgemont must focus on the needs of all Edgemont residents. 

We trust our future to the intelligence, expertise, and good judgment of our fellow Edgemont residents.
